Rolled Turkey Breast

This tender, rolled turkey breast is carefully prepared by our chefs for an even roast that’s bursting with flavour in every slice.

Rolling locks in moisture, creating a juicy, perfectly cooked centrepiece - ideal for smaller gatherings or as a delicious addition to a larger festive feast.

Pair it with one of our rich, house-made Christmas stuffings and a generous pour of traditional roast chicken gravy.

Serves 4-6 people

 

INGREDIENTS:
       
      PREP TIME:
      10 minutes
       
      COOKING TIME:
      1.5 hours plus resting time
       
      COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
      1. Preheat oven to 180°C 
      2. Rub butter, oil, salt and pepper all over the turkey breast (netting still on).
      3. Place in a roasting pan on an elevated tray to allow air flow.
      4. Reduce the oven temperature to 160°C 
      5. Roast for 1.5 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 74°C and the skin is golden brown.
      6. Before carving, remove the netting and let the turkey breast rest for 20 minutes.

      All poultry should be cooked until an internal temperature of 74°C is reached. Insert the thermometer into the thickest part of the breast.
