Our whole side of Ora King smoked salmon is a luxurious addition to your Christmas table. Cured for 24 hours in a delicate blend of salt and sugar, it is then immersed in oil for 48 hours and meticulously smoked in-house over Beechwood, resulting in a rich and distinct flavour that sets it apart.
Sustainably farmed in the fast-flowing, pristine waters of Marlborough Sounds, New Zealand, Ora King is committed to being the world’s best. With a stocking density of just 2% salmon to 98% water, this careful approach ensures not only delicious, tender fish but also a strong commitment to responsible farming.
To serve, simply remove the skin from the back of the fillet and slice thinly. This smoked salmon makes a delightful entrée or canapé for Christmas Day, and it’s equally perfect for a standout Boxing Day breakfast alongside scrambled eggs and warm croissants.
